Jason Andrew from SBO Financial on why you should start sharing your ideas

I spoke with Jason Andrew, a Chartered Accountant and the owner of SBO Financial, an outsourced finance and tax business targeting high growth businesses in the digital and creative sectors.

Jason’s big marketing tip for firm owners is to start sharing their ideas and knowledge with the market. He believes that accountants have a wealth of knowledge that can help improve the financial literacy of business owners.

Jason encourages accountants to educate the market on technical staff, explain how they can help, and share their expertise through content creation.

He mentions that sharing financial data, such as P&Ls and balance sheets, and explaining how to interpret them can break down barriers and make financial information more accessible to small business owners.

Jason has written a book called “Naked Numbers,” which is a self-help guide on small business finance, aimed at improving financial literacy and providing tactical ways to enhance financial performance.
