Account(able) Accountants is a firm with a history going back 30 years. Now with offices in Bacchus Marsh, Melbourne and Geelong, and over 20 team members, Account(able)’s aim is to build strong partnerships between them and their clients. And with that in mind, they decided the time was ripe for an overhaul of their business website.

“We knew we wanted to build a new website, but at that stage we hadn’t actually gone looking for a designer,” recalls administrator Kristen Walsh. “Then I received an email about a Bizink webinar, and I sat in on that with Tim, our IT guy. And that was it for us – they looked great straight away.”

The new website contains not just business resources and Xero-specific guides, but the “Learn Xero in 7 Days” client converter. “We’re getting people who are using that – we’d be interested in finding out what other client converters are available,” says Kristen. “And as far as the business resources go, people find those really useful, especially the videos.”

Not only is the new site packed with resources, it’s also easy to use. “I’m not all that IT-savvy, but I can use it and it’s easy to use for our clients as well,” says Kristen. “We’re getting increased traffic and leads.”

Kristen goes on to explain that, compared to the previous website, the new one has had a positive impact, especially with its complementary social media functions. “That’s really getting it out in front of people, they’re seeing it a lot,” she says. “We’re getting more visitors, and we’ve had way more activity on this site than we ever did before.”

Looking back over the experience with Bizink, Kristen recalls that her interactions with Kamila were particularly helpful. “Kamila was wonderful. She had a novice in me, and she was very patient,” says Kristen. “We wanted to write all of our content, so there was a lot of back and forth, and Kamila was really great about it.”

With increased traffic and activity on the new website, Account(able) are happy with what they’ve achieved with Bizink. “We’re proud of this one. We’re loving the blogs, the library, the social media… we’re thrilled with it.”
