With over 20 years of small business experience behind him, Byron Riley launched his own accounting firm in 2015. “I focus on working with small business owners,” he explains. “I provide bookkeeping, accounting and taxes. Our expertise is in small business, and we pride ourselves on superior service. Our purpose is to help business owners understand their business so they can make the best decisions and maximize revenue, increase cash flow, and minimize taxes.”

A keen blogger and user of social media, Byron uses these tools to underline his firm’s expertise with small business. “I try to use social media to position myself as an expert and staying in front of prospects and clients,” he explains. “This also keeps me front-of-mind with prospects and clients for referral business.”

It’s this philosophy that endears clients to Byron Riley, CPA. “We try to help small business owners understand their numbers from an ownership and management perspective,” he says. “This helps them to make better decisions as owners.  I have over 20 years of small business ownership experience of working in my family business. It means I can connect and relate directly to their experience as an owner.”

It was this ‘user-friendly’ focus that was on Byron’s mind when he turned his attention to the firm’s website. “It wasn’t user-friendly, it didn’t have the right content and wasn’t engaging clients,” he recalls. “It was difficult to work with.”

Byron wanted a website that could integrate his blogging and social media skills, so that it was more appealing to potential clients. Looking back over the design and build process, Byron recalls that the whole experience was very educational. “They’re very hands-on when it comes to creating a custom site,” he says. “Their follow-up and continued assistance has been great. They’re quick to respond to every question and request.”

The new site has already seen success, generating and winning new leads for the firm. Byron describes the overall Bizink experience as very positive. “I’ve already recommended them to other accountants I know,” he says. “And I certainly would do so again!”
