As a full-service business advisory, accounting, tax, and financial firm, O’Brien Accountants & Advisors has grown significantly since it was first established in 1976. Although they had a website, Lisa Sweeting, Marketing and Communications Manager, and the team at O’Brien Accountants & Advisors realised they needed a new website and website provider. The company they used previously cost a lot of money for service that Lisa says wasn’t satisfactory. O’Brien Accountants & Advisors was growing and felt the time was right to develop a new website.

“We were at a point where we found the old website wasn’t working for us,” Lisa says. “As you’ve taught me since, it was just a brochure. It wasn’t interactive.”

Although O’Brien Accountants & Advisors has an awesome in-house marketing resource in Lisa, she says her main challenges lie in that it’s difficult for her to develop the quantity of content they need quickly and accurately. O’Brien Accountants & Advisors liked that Bizink focused on accountants and had the technical knowledge and content resources they needed.

So there was that good feeling, but there was also your offering, of course. It wasn’t just web design, it was content. The content is gold. And the email marketing. I could see how easy it was with that system to drag and drop blogs into emails. Bringing it all together under the one roof has been great.”

Although they didn’t have any specific goals for the website, Lisa says once they started using it they realised its potential.
